I absolutely love Dr. Gilroy. Not only is he a great dentist, but he's a delight to talk to. Unlike previous dentists I've seen who were often creepy and/or condescending, Dr. Gilroy is straight forward, explains the issue, and then works quickly and efficiently to fix it. He's so fast! His staff is also great, and they always give you a pre-visit quote and run down any billing issues should they arise. I recommend him every chance I get.

Being a person that lives with mental illness, I have often avoided dental work. It can be very hard to make me feel comfortable and I have never felt so comfortable getting dental work done. The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, and Dr. Woodbine was incredibly gentle, efficient, and skilled. I was treated like a person, not a problem to be fixed. I highly recommend Park North Dentistry and will certainly be using their services again.

I’ve had jaw pain for sometime now so Dr. Gilroy had his team of professionals check my insurance coverage to see if I qualify for a mouth guard. I came in and the lovely technicians did a scan of my teeth quickly and without any discomfort. Now I just come back to get fitted. It’s always a good experience at Park North Dentistry.

Listen. There’s a reason this place has such a high rating. I’ve been coming here for 8 years. The staff is welcoming, I’ve had the best cleanings of my life (still not a single cavity!) and, I can’t speak for everyone, but Dr Gilroy knows his stuff. They simply have it down. No fluff, just experts at what they do.

Truly fantastic dentist, and equally great office overall. For various reasons, I hadn’t seen a dentist in 10 years, but a friend referred me to Dr. Gilroy because his wife, who had been in a similar situation to mine, said he was excellent.They didn’t guilt or shame me whatsoever about not going for a long time, (Dr. Gilroy said something along the lines of, “You’re here now! What good would it do to make you feel bad?”) Plus, the cleaning with the dental hygienist was pain-free and super quick. I had one cavity, so I made a follow-up appointment for a few weeks from now.Overall, it was just such a positive experience. And, in all seriousness, I’m not afraid of the dentist anymore. If you’ve been putting it off as long as I did because you’re scared of getting scolded and/or what they’ll find, or if you’re just anxious about it the dentist in general, I cannot recommend this office + Dr. Gilroy enough.

Dr. Gilroy is easily the best dentist I've ever had. The whole team provides thorough while efficient care, seamless management of insurance claims, and my appointments have always been on time. Unlike most other dentists I've seen, I've never been upsold for services I didn't need at Park North.

I have been at this dentist for a year now and I don’t think I’m leaving. The receptionists are very nice and I was appreciative they remembered my mom and helped her with her scheduling. The hygienist is very thorough in her work and in educating me. Super sweet person. The doctor is easy to talk to about my dental goals. This is a great team overall!

I had a wisdom tooth erupt and within 24 hours, I had an appt and extraction scheduled with Dr Woodbine. There was zero time to be anxious! I was in and out in less than an hour. The front desk was fabulous at checking my insurance and everyone was friendly and accommodating. I felt so well taken care of and loved having my problem solved so quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend Park North Dentistry for oral surgery needs.

Although Dr Richards left - and she was amazing- the team was great. Almost no wait time and the staff is super polite. Hygienist was understanding about my teeth being sensitive and the dentist gave me great tips on keeping my teeth in my head.

The best dentist I’ve had in NYC (grew up here). Dr. Gilroy is great and very attentive. Doesn’t push anything extra on you. The hygienist (forgot her name) is amazing and always does a perfect job at cleanings. Top top staff, definitely recommend.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to. No guilt trips just practical help from nice people that accommodate you. I.e. I’m extra sensitive to certain dental tools. Most dentist’s would insist that if I can’t tolerate certain tools they’ll numb me to make me feel better. Not Park North Dentistry. They tried a different method. It worked. No numbering necessary. Dr. Gilroy is the best! Last year, I was going through a really rough time dealing with lingering pain after two root canals (done by a different dental office) and TMJ/teeth grinding issues. The discomfort was constant and intense, it was affecting my sleep, my focus, and, honestly, my overall quality of life.From my first visit, I felt heard and supported. He was incredibly patient and compassionate, never rushing me through appointments. He took the time to really listen and explain things clearly. We came up with a plan that ultimately got me out of pain, something I wasn't sure would even be possible at the time.What really stood out was how responsive and caring he was, even outside of office visits. He answered all of my anxious emails thoroughly, kindly, and without judgment.Also, I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff, they’re all incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive, both on the phone and over email. Every interaction with the office has been easy which makes such a big difference when you’re already stressed about dental stuff.I now recommend Dr. Gilroy to everyone I know (and even strangers online in Reddit threads and FB groups!). If you're looking for a dentist who is not only skilled but also a good human, he's the one.

I’ve been bouncing around Park Slope trying to find a good dentist and after an exhaustive search, I’ve finally found the best one. Park North Dentistry employees were kind and welcoming, from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentist herself. I knew they would be different as soon as they said “welcome to the practice” while I was checking in. They made me feel comfortable and walked me through everything that was happening. They gave recommendations based on my history without judgment. I look forward to continuing my dental care here!

Prior to visiting this dentistry, I hadn’t seen an oral specialist in roughly 2 years due to personal, painful and poor experiences in my past relationships with other dentists. From the start, I felt welcomed and was seen quickly. As a new patient, I’d say the on boarding process was very quick. Upon being sat on my chair, my anxiety was through the roof! However, I was gently greeted by a woman/nurse, I believe her name was Angelica (sorry if not!) she was very polite, knowledgeable, patient and made sure I was comfortable, all my questions were answered, needs were met and she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable nor awkward. The cleaning was the best I’ve had since I was a child, I’m now 27 years old. She was so gentle and checked in with me throughout the entire process and ensured I understood what was being done and the importance of my treatment. The doctor (forgot his name) was also sweet, welcoming. Thank you to all the staff, I’ll most certainly be returning!

Had an appointment today with Dr. Kasey Muchnicki for my 6-month cleaning. I arrived a little early. Was greeted by all the staff by name. These ladies are so nice. Always have smiles. &bit was a Friday! I was taken back before my appointment. Dr. Kasey is the best! She always explains what she will do before she touches your mouth. Goes over any concerns. She gives the best dental cleanings I have ever had. She always makes sure you are comfortable and will stop if needed. Never gets annoyed. She was her usual bubbly self. She explained to me that one of my fillings had chipped. Told me what needed to be done. I asked if she could do it now & she agreed with no hesitation. She had a lady from the front desk explain the cost before anything was done. No surprise bills here. All costs are explained before the service. They will give you a full dental plan, if you require other services & will work with you about scheduling. The filling was painless! It's been 10 hours after service & still no discomfort! & that filling was deep! I my 6-month visit before leaving the office. Was told to call if I have any issues. I doubt I will.Have a great Spring & Summer Park North Dentistry. See you in the fall!
